2018 Bobcaygeon Communities in Bloom Results To Be Announced

COMMUNITIES IN BLOOM – PRESENTATION AT 2:45 P.M.

Will it be one bloom, three ... or even five? The 2018 Bobcaygeon Communities in Bloom team results will be announced, representing the joint efforts of just about every group in town. From tidy-up days to horticulture work to launching the judges on both trolley and water tours, and the million details in between, everyone in Bobcaygeon had a hand in making Communities in Bloom a success. Now we'll find out how we rank with other Ontario towns our size. Results are kept secret and even the core group organizers do not yet now how we did.

LAKE LIFE T-SHIRT DONATION – PRESENTATION AT 3:15 P.M.

Buckeye Surf has again generously donated $5 from every Lake Life T-shirt to help local organizations. Taylor Poole will be presenting cheques to the very appreciative Kawartha Land Trust and Impact 32 volunteers.

PADDLE SILENT AUCTION – WINNERS ANNOUNCED AT 3:30 P.M.

All 71 of the beautiful paddles painted by local artists and groups are up for bids, just come by Kawartha Coffee any day this week and have a look at the paddles on display and write your bid for your favourite in the binders. Bidding closes and winners will be announced at 3:30 p.m. Decorative paddles are always popular as wall art, and also make stylish cottage country statements over your mantle, or enhancing your rec room, boathouse, cottage, garage, or garden. All funds raised will support Impact 32 future community projects.

Come by Kawartha Coffee on Saturday afternoon from 1 to 4 p.m., bid on paddles or just cheer on and encourage our local volunteers – they're surely one more thing everyone in our vibrant village can be thankful for.
